Privacy Policy

The Karim Standard (TKS) is operated by Karim Majid. This policy explains how we handle information associated with the TKS website and correspondence sent to us. The service providers identified below also have their own privacy notices and controls.

If you email TKS, we receive your email address, the name you provide, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, address corrections or concerns, and keep a record of the exchange when needed.

Sending a question does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The current website has no newsletter signup, reader comments, contact form, or TKS-operated payment checkout.

Website services and technical information

Hosting and access. TKS is hosted through OpenAI’s Sites platform. Hosting, access, and security services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and request times. Where access requires platform sign-in, the platform processes the associated account and authentication information. See OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for its practices and available controls.

Fonts and email. The site uses Google Fonts. Loading those fonts causes your browser to request styles and font files from Google, with the information associated with those requests. Our contact mailbox is hosted by Gmail, so email correspondence is also processed through Google’s services. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

TKS has no separate reader-account database or visitor-profiling system in this version.

Cookies and analytics

TKS has not added an analytics service, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies to its pages. Hosting, sign-in, and security services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own notices.

You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect platform sign-in or access.

Retailer links and affiliate relationships

Articles link to manufacturers, retailers, and other sources. When you follow an external link, the destination’s privacy policy applies to your visit there. Those services may process information about the visit, including referral information supplied by your browser.

The current chair evaluations and comparison use ordinary retailer links without affiliate tracking added by TKS. Any future affiliate links will be disclosed, and this policy will be updated when our information-handling practices change. Our Affiliate Disclosure describes the current commercial position.

How we use and disclose information

We use correspondence to answer you, manage requests, maintain relevant business records, and address disputes or legal obligations. Email and other service providers process information needed to deliver their services.

TKS does not sell personal information or disclose it to advertisers for cross-site advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, when needed to address fraud or security incidents, or at your request. Service providers’ own processing is described in their notices linked above.

Retention and security

We retain correspondence for as long as needed to respond, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We delete it when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Providers may retain information under their own policies.

We use the access and security controls supplied by our hosting and email services and limit access to TKS correspondence to what is needed to operate TKS and respond to requests.

Your questions and choices

You can email blaqueny@gmail.com to ask about information in TKS’s correspondence records or request access, correction, or deletion. Describe your request and the email address used to contact us. We may need enough information to confirm that a request concerns your records and will handle it under applicable law.

Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or ongoing disputes. Information held directly by OpenAI, Google, or a retailer is subject to that provider’s own privacy controls and request process.

TKS’s buying content is intended for adult readers. If you believe a child has provided personal information to TKS, contact us so we can review and remove it from our records where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change and show the revised date above. New features or services that change how personal information is handled will be reflected in this policy.
