The Karim Standard (TKS) is an editorial product-research website operated by Karim Majid. These Terms describe use of the website, sharing of its content, and the scope of its reviews and recommendations.

Research, evidence, and ratings

TKS publishes product research, comparisons, and editorial judgments. Read each article’s evidence label, configuration, dates, and limitations alongside its recommendation.

Our current chair evaluations are Research Previews. TKS has not physically tested either chair. Research Preview scores are provisional judgments based on available sources; they do not represent a completed TKS sitting test or a guarantee of comfort, durability, or personal fit.

Ratings follow our published methodology. The Meets The Karim Standard seal requires a score of at least 90, no Disqualifying Fundamental Flaw, and completed TKS physical testing. Neither current Research Preview receives the seal. The seal is an editorial designation; it is not a manufacturer warranty, clinical finding, or laboratory safety certification.

An assessment finding no Disqualifying Fundamental Flaw describes the evidence reviewed. It does not guarantee that no problem exists or that a chair suits every person. Ergonomic commentary describes product features and reported experiences and does not provide an individual medical assessment.

Buying decisions and retailer links

TKS publishes information and links to sellers. TKS does not sell the chairs described, take payment for them, or handle their orders, deliveries, returns, or warranty claims. Those transactions are with the seller or manufacturer under its applicable terms.

Prices, availability, specifications, and policies can change. Article prices are dated observations rather than live quotes. Before purchasing, verify the exact model and configuration, current price, fit requirements, return conditions, and warranty with the relevant seller or manufacturer.

A link to another website is provided in the context of the article. It does not endorse every statement, product, or practice on that website. External services have their own terms and privacy policies.

Commercial relationships

The current chair evaluations and comparison use ordinary retailer links without affiliate tracking added by TKS. If affiliate relationships are introduced, we will explain the commission relationship near the relevant recommendation and links.

Affiliate availability, commissions, supplied products, advertising, and sponsorships do not determine TKS scores or conclusions. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains the current position.

You may link to TKS pages. Where TKS holds the relevant rights, we permit brief excerpts of TKS’s original writing for discussion or review, with attribution and a link to the source page. Quote accurately and preserve the context of the conclusion.

For permission to republish substantial portions, reuse TKS branding, or display the TKS seal as an endorsement, contact us. These Terms do not grant permission to reproduce third-party images or other third-party material. Rights in protected material remain with the respective rights holders.

Nothing in these Terms limits fair use or other uses permitted by applicable law. The U.S. Copyright Office’s guidance explains that fair use depends on the circumstances of the particular use.

Do not imply a TKS endorsement, partnership, or seal award that TKS has not authorized.

Responsible use

Use the website lawfully. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious code, or impersonate TKS or another person. Use of a hosting provider’s account or access services is also subject to that provider’s applicable terms.

Accuracy, availability, and your rights

We aim to publish accurate, useful information and correct substantiated errors. Sources, products, and linked pages can change, and coverage can contain errors or omissions. Please send corrections with the relevant page link and supporting information.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that a recommendation will produce a particular purchasing outcome.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or protections that apply under law or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and correspondence

Our Privacy Policy explains how TKS handles correspondence, website services, and privacy requests. Emailing a question does not subscribe you to marketing messages or transfer ownership of your message to TKS.

Updates and contact

We may update these Terms as the website or its practices change. The revised date will appear above, and changes apply from that date forward, subject to applicable law.
